Sitting late at night with the boys from Lexington
Painting patterns with a cross bow in my hand
Still missing something
Think I'll take a year out to see the world

Staining glass beads for the sake of solitude
Phillips and Drew say sterling's in control
Still missing something
Think I'll take a turn with the other side

Dreaming of the dangers you won't talk about
Waking with the sound of battle in my head
Still missing something
Should I settle for a car and a single end?

Making music with the boys from Lexington
Working on pressure brought to bear at will
Still missing something
Think a season in Hell looks on the cards

10. Boys From Lexington
(McGowan) Yet another golden oldie of mine c. 1980. I think I somehow managed to actually make it sound like 80s music this time round! Whether that's a good or a bad thing is open to question. I always had a soft spot for this - maybe because I mention Rimbaud's 'Season in Hell' in the lyric. Ah – I was an idealist in those days - but I haven't settled for a car and a single end yet! --Davy

Not yet any lyrics before me, so I'm focusing on the playing and the feeling of the song. And got to say I like it! This is how a song can be good even with quite little happening within the chords or melody -- Jore
